NEW Web-site ROAP
ROAP - Rivne Regional Non-governmental Organization “ Association for Legal Protection and Assistance to Local Entrepreneurs” (the official abbreviated name – Rivne Regional Association of Entrepreneurs) was founded in 1996 on the initiative of the Rivne entrepreneurs group. The main aim of ROAP activity is the assistance to development of Association members activity, creating the efficient system of support and assistance to expansion of small and medium business in Ukraine. (SME).
Everyday work of ROAP directed to giving necessary kinds of assistance (services) to entrepreneurs of small and medium business according to such general lines:
- The Information Providing.
The information- analytic center was created on base of ROAP, with the help of USA Agency of International Development, and successfully function during three years. In this center entrepreneurs get the business practical information – offers of Ukrainian enterprises and enterprises of other countries, exhibitions and business forums, which are conducted in Ukraine and beyond the bounds of it; information about possible probation periods; information about sources of finance for small business. The center constantly administrates the programs of business partners searching, assists in expansion of market of entrepreneurs’ goods and services
- The Consult-methodical providing (law consulting department)
Consultations to the entrepreneurs on the questions of legislation, entrepreneurship, business accounting, rights and duties of entrepreneurs and controlling units; supplying with texts of legislative acts and normative documents, instructions. The department prepares and printed different kinds of methodic materials (brochures, booklets, informlists). The consultations on the legal points of business activity are conducted, and, as needed, the legal assistance are provided too.
Since November, 1999, on the base of ROAP, with the assistance of Program “Business Associations” by project Newbiznet, “Hot line”- the free of charge informational service to the entrepreneurs of the region – started its function: (0362)63-3116.
- Cooperation with government bodies and mass media.
Building of constructive cooperation forms with executive organs and mass media in the area of supporting small and medium business in Rivne Region , civilized and effective forms of lobbying with the object of propaganda of entrepreneurship development.
Besides, ROAP constantly works on development of resource abilities of association with the object of more qualitative holding of its activity. New programs and projects are worked up and introduced. In particular, at the present date some of them are:
- The work of resource brining in for the creation of the training – methodical center on the ROAP base. The line of work of the center is conducting trainings for the entrepreneurs (computer training, information system in business accounting, operation of business, skills of work with E-mail, Internet; computerized course of English; training – working with the computerized legislative data base).
- ROAP Web-site was made and the project of creation of Internet- server for the promotion of small and medium business information of Rivne Region and non-profit business associations is under construction now.
- The work of formation of regional infrastructure of SMB support in regions of Rivne area is carried out.
